What can be challenged
You can report an issue with:
- the identity or model of a product;
- a retail price;
- an image;
- a source or source description;
- a manufacturing-location claim;
- an estimated cost component;
- an assumption or confidence assessment; or
- wording that could reasonably be read as presenting an estimate as a verified fact.
Helpful information
A useful correction request includes the TrueCost product-page URL, the information you believe is wrong, why you believe it is wrong and, where possible, a reliable source supporting the correction.
What TrueCost may do
A review may result in an estimate being refreshed, amended, given a different confidence level or removed. Not every disagreement means the estimate is incorrect, particularly where public evidence supports more than one reasonable assumption.
